In the lookout to stay active during my days I chose pilates as the activity I want to pursue. I tried multiple places like Sol Pilates & Pause Studio, but I wanted something new, nearby and has a nice overview to it. I chose Plume studio in Jumeirah which was very nearby. I knew I found my place, since it was very convenient to commute to and looked fresh and new. 

The studio has such a warm and welcoming vibe you feel it the second you walk in. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and even gave me a quick tour, which instantly put me at ease since I wasn’t familiar with the space. I joined the pilates class, the instructor was so patient and clear, guiding us through each move and making sure we felt comfortable. 

What I loved most was the detailed warm-up; it wasn’t rushed like many other studios I went to. Every muscle felt activated before we even started; prepping me right for the class.

The class itself was challenging but it definitely made me feel stronger, not discouraged.  After class, I got to enjoy their amazing facilities: an ice bath, sauna, there is even a coffee bar for a little treat before heading out. It felt like self-care from start to finish.

Our Experience:

I recently tried a class at Gigi’s Reformer Studio in Mirdif Avenue Mall, Dubai, and it was such a good experience. The Pilates studio is cozy, very clean and well-designed, with about 6–8 Pilates reformer machines. The staff were welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away.

The class itself was difficult but enjoyable. The instructor was friendly and gave hands-on attention to all of us, correcting our form and offering modifications based on our experience level and difficulty. I appreciated that the instructor moved between clients, checking in with all of us. And small touches like towels, water, and cleaning between classes gave off a high end feel to the studio. This was the first time I took a Lagree Pilates class, and I think this experience was so fun and I would definitely do it again. For booking classes at Gigi, you should use the app MINDBODY, you can buy single classes, packages, and book your sessions on the app, this whole process made visiting the studio easy.

After our class, we talked to a visitor that was in the class with us, she mentioned that this studio is amazing, she already has a pilates reformer background so she wasn’t sure what to expect, but she said that this is a completely different experience that she loved. She also brought up that the instructors are fantastic and helped her through the entire session so seamlessly, they are truly kind, considerate and exceptionally talented. Finally, she said that she highly recommends this studio for a new experience.

My first experience was at the jumeirah studio, the ambience and place was complete bliss.
