Choosing where to begin can be challenging because Dubai is home to so many exciting adventure parks. The city provides everything you could possibly want, whether you’re looking for a challenge that pushes you to the edge, an enjoyable indoor escape with friends, or something quite different. I wanted to share my honest impressions after visiting some of the most talked-about locations, from the activities and environment to the costs and general vibe, to help you choose where to get your next rush of excitement.

Mountain Extreme

Our Experience:

My recent trip to Mountain Extreme was one of my favorite things I did in Dubai. This gym is worth a look if you’ve ever looked for rock climbing in Dubai or wondered where to try indoor rock climbing. The area is spacious, well-designed, and suitable for climbers of all skill levels.

The bouldering section and the tall walls for lead and top-rope climbing were what most pleased me. There was a lot of variation with problems that changed frequently, so nothing felt monotonous. I also tested the auto-belays, which are ideal for a full climbing session even if you don’t have a partner. For children as young as four, parents will value the Climbing Academy. I observed one of the classes and was impressed by how organized and supportive the teachers were.

Prices:

AED 125 for a drop-in session with equipment, AED 250 for coaching sessions, and AED 680 for memberships are all fair prices for the services provided. It does get busy, so I would advise making reservations in advance, especially on weekends.

The atmosphere was friendly overall, and I liked how amiable the personnel and frequent climbers were. The experience was enhanced by the sense of community and the imaginative and difficult route setting. The few changing rooms and some chalk restrictions were only minor drawbacks, but they didn’t detract from the enjoyment. I can now understand why Mountain Extreme is regarded as Dubai’s most comprehensive rock climbing location after giving it a try. I will surely return.

Adrenaline Rush at XStrike

Our Experience:

Going to XStrike Dubai was honestly one of the most exciting things I’ve done in a while. From the second I stepped inside, I could already feel the energy. The whole place feels like a real-life video game – dark arena, flashing light, sound effects, and missions that keep your adrenaline rushing.

The arena was huge with obstacles everywhere, and every corner felt like a surprise. The games are fast, intense, and full of action. Running with my team, hiding behind barriers, and trying to win missions really gave me that adrenaline kick. 

It reminded me of the same rush you get at places like IMG Worlds of adventure and Adventure park, except this is indoors and built completely around tactical missions. Unlike paintball, there’s no mess, and it’s more thrilling than a normal adventure park

If you’re looking for something different from your usual IMG worlds of adventure or Adventure Park Dubai or outdoor activities, XStrike is the perfect indoor option. The lighting, sound effects, and game design make it feel like a real combat mission. All while staying safe and having fun.

Definitely book ahead especially on weekends, since it gets crowded fast. 

The staff were super friendly and explained everything clearly before the game. The atmosphere was fun, and everyone there had a good energy. The only downside was waiting a little between matches, but it gave me a chance to catch my breath before jumping back in. 

Overall, XStrike Dubai gave me such an unforgettable experience, its the kind of thing that leaves your heart racing and makes you want to go back again. If you’re searching for an adventure park or laser tag this is definitely the place to be.

IMG Worlds of Adventure

Our Experience:

My recent trip to IMG Worlds of Adventure was one of the most exciting indoor gaming experiences I have had in Dubai. If you enjoy indoor gaming in Dubai or just want to spend a full day of fun indoors, this is the perfect place to visit. The entire park is air-conditioned and spread across huge themed zones, each offering a unique experience filled with action, adventure, and entertainment for all ages.

I spent most of my time exploring the Marvel Zone, which had amazing rides like Spider-Man Doc Ock’s Revenge and the Avengers Battle of Ultron. The Cartoon Network Zone was bright and lively, full of games and interactive shows for families. I also visited the Lost Valley zone, which had realistic dinosaur-themed rides that made me feel like I was in a movie. The indoor gaming area was full of arcade machines, racing simulators, and fun skill games that brought out the kid in me.

Prices:

The ticket cost was AED 365, which gave me full-day access to all the rides and gaming zones. Children under 1.05 meters get in free, which makes it a great choice for families. Food inside was slightly pricey, but the variety was impressive — from burgers and pizzas to Arabic and Asian meals.

Overall, IMG Worlds of Adventure truly lives up to its reputation as one of Dubai’s best destinations for indoor gaming and entertainment. The staff were friendly, the place was spotless, and I left with great memories and a smile. I would definitely visit again for another indoor gaming adventure soon.
