The Best Brunch in Dubai: Your Ultimate Guide

Avocado toast on a pink plate and French toast topped with cream, figs and berries at Brunch & Cake, one of the best brunch places in Dubai.

For the best brunch in Dubai to have with family and friends, you need to try the classic Brunch & Cake at Wasl 51 for insta-worthy food, the newly opened and popular ERGON Agora in Downtown Dubai for a Greek-fusion brunch, Maisan15 in Al Barsha South for a hidden gem that feels miles away from the city, and Bageri Form in Dubai Design District for the freshest, most delicious pastries with stunning Burj Khalifa views. These brunch spots each offer different foods and experiences, and we went to try them all, so you know exactly where to go.

Here’s what we thought of each one:

Brunch & Cake: Dubai’s Instagram-Worthy Brunch Spot

Are you looking for the best brunch place in Dubai? Wasl 51 – Brunch & Cake is the place to be. With colorful dishes and an interior that is inspired by nature, the cafe is a fun place to stop by if you are looking to have brunch with your friends or family.

The first thing that you notice is the atmosphere. The cafe has a warm and welcoming ambiance, thanks to the wooden furniture, dried flowers, and big tropical plants. The tall windows also let natural light into the area, making it bright during the day. Brunch & Cake also has an outdoor seating area with tables and umbrellas. It is well worth keeping an eye out for when you’re looking for a good brunch in Dubai, particularly in the cooler weather.

The food presentation is another reason to visit. The avocado toast comes on a pink plate with colorful garnishes, while the French toast is topped with cream, berries, and figs. Instead of keeping the dishes simple, the cafe uses a variety of colors and toppings to make them visually appealing. It’s a nice detail for people who enjoy photographing their food before eating.

I think what is interesting about Brunch & Cake is the way it’s designed and presented. Other brunch restaurants in Dubai should also follow this approach to developing unique decor and presentation in their cafes. It highlights that even small details can contribute to a business’s identity.

Ultimately, Brunch & Cake is one of the more affordable brunch places in Dubai that you should keep in mind when you are looking for a relaxed environment and a delicious food presentation. Perfect to add to the list of best brunch places in Dubai for a casual outing in the daytime.

ERGON Agora: A Greek-Fusion Brunch Spot

ERGON Agora Dubai brunch spread featuring pancakes, poached eggs, and Greek-inspired dishes, one of the top sunday brunches in Dubai.

If you are looking for the best brunch in Dubai, Ergon Agora Dubai is the place to try. It offers a variety of sweet and savory Greek-inspired dishes. It recently became an ‘it spot’ and was trending on social media. I recently visited to see if it lives up to the hype, and here are my thoughts on Dubai’s trendiest brunch spot.

The first thing that I noticed was the vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant was so packed and lively, in my opinion, it was a great place to have brunch with friends. But the noise level was also high, so it would not be a brunch spot I would choose for studying or relaxing.

However, the food was definitely the highlight. Some dishes stood out more than others. My personal favorite was the hazelnut praline pancakes. I would give it a solid (10/10): rich, chocolatey, and so very indulgent. Another highlight was the “Shakshuka Pinirli” (10/10), a clever take on breakfast pizza. The Greek yogurt pancakes (8/10) were light, fluffy, and fun to eat, and the poached eggs on sourdough (8/10) were a nice mix of savory flavors. The sesame koulouri (6/10) did not taste particularly good, and the Greek yogurt with honey (4/10) was quite simple in comparison to the other dishes.

The beauty of ERGON Agora is that it blends the old and the new, Greek and creative brunch, making it one of the first Greek-fusion restaurants to open in Dubai. It’s definitely worth a try, and a lovely experience.

In conclusion, ERGON Agora is a great place to try out if you love unique dishes and a lively ambiance, making it one of the nicest brunch places in Dubai. Although not every dish lived up to the hype, I would definitely visit again for the welcoming atmosphere, the delicious ‘Praline pancakes’ and ‘Shakshuka Pinirli’, and would love to try more of their unique, Greek-fusion dishes. Although it was quite pricey, it was definitely not the most expensive brunch in Dubai, but it ended up being one of the best with friends.

Maisan15: One of the Best Brunch Places in Dubai You Haven’t Heard Of

Maisan15 is a hidden gem that offers a one-of-a-kind experience, being part cafe, part restaurant, part library, and part art gallery. Maisan15 offers its customers a cozy, scenic atmosphere and the best brunch in Dubai.

The space is tucked away behind plants and greenery, unlike anything you have ever seen. Somehow, when you enter, you’re still outside, in what appears to be an air-conditioned glass house, helping beat that Dubai heat whilst providing you the best ‘outdoors’ brunch. When you go even further in, you can see the art and unique touch of the owner, Rami Farook, the shelves of books that make it easy to stay for a second coffee, and even further down, you may see the lovely chef Rita Soueidan, the sunshine of Maisan15.

Maisan15’s glass-roofed garden seating area in Dubai, filled with potted palms, trees, and greenery, providing a nice outdoor brunch with a view.

The menu is what earns Maisan15 its place among Dubai’s top brunch spots. Our recommendation is to start off with the breakfast named after the man who started it all, Rami’s breakfast, the fan-favorite Yemeni shakshuka, confit potatoes, and triple dips that give you a taste of what separates Maisan15 from any other brunch in Dubai. If you are leaning towards something heartier, we recommend the famous mashallah burger, wagyu melt, and our personal favorite, the braised short ribs with dates. To finish it all off, their famous churros with marshmallow sauce for dessert!

For a relaxed, creative alternative to the usual brunch restaurants in Dubai, Maisan15 is worth the trip.

Maisan15 is open daily from 8 am to 11 pm, and breakfast is served until 4 pm, so if you’re thinking of having brunch in Dubai today, you still have plenty of time to plan your perfect Sunday brunch, catch up with friends, get some work done, and take advantage of their complimentary water.

BAGERI FORM: The Best Brunch in Dubai with a View

If you are looking for good brunch places in Dubai, BAGERI FORM is definitely worth checking out. What I like most is the location and vibe, which makes it a great brunch spot to catch up with friends over good food and drinks. Another thing I like about Bageri Form is the variety on its menu. If you want a proper brunch, you can choose from options like omelets, poached eggs, and avocado, or customize your own brunch plate depending on what you feel like eating. However, if you prefer something lighter, you can enjoy a coffee or matcha with one of their freshly baked pastries.

Their cardamom bun, custard cream, and forest berries Danish are worth checking out, especially if you have a sweet tooth. One of their highlight drinks is their viral iced salted maple matcha. I like that you can visit for a full brunch or simply grab a drink and pastry while spending time with friends.

For me, the outdoor seating is another reason to visit. Dubai’s cooler months, especially from November to February, are the perfect time to enjoy brunch outside. With its amazing views of Dubai and the Burj Khalifa, it is a lovely setting for a weekend catch-up, taking pictures, and enjoying a slower morning with friends. However, parking is something to keep in mind when planning a visit. There is valet parking directly outside the cafe, along with free and paid parking options nearby. The area can get especially busy on weekends, so finding a spot may take some extra time. I would recommend arriving a little earlier if you are planning a Saturday brunch.

Overall, Bageri Form is a cafe I would recommend if you enjoy discovering new spots in Dubai.
